What Is The Episodes?

The Episodes is an experiential marketing agency for the HORECA industry. We believe creative storytelling aligned with business goals is crucial for effective marketing. We specialize in social media, sales management, and content creation for homestays, farm stays, and boutique hotels.

What does The Episodes do?

The Episodes offers end-to-end help for hospitality projects, starting from creating a brand story, market positioning, curating guest experiences that could add value, and understanding your ideal TG to translating the story into visual content for website, social media and other platforms. We also help standalone properties with personalized sales with a conscious effort to have the right kind of guests visit. Our services are not templetised and can be tailored to your needs.

Who are the founders?

The Episodes was founded in 2020 by Keertana & Shreya. 
Keertana Iyer, a marketing specialist and photographer with a love for hospitality and storytelling, is the content creator @thenextcheckin

Shreya Merchant, a chartered accountant with over 12 years of experience as a business finance professional in the corporate space. Her business knowledge clubbed with creativity makes for a great combination.

What does a Content Shoot with the Episodes look like ?

Creating visual stories for hospitality is one of our favorite things to do. It requires us to see the space through the client's and the guest's eyes. Then, bridge it with beautiful content. The starting point is to understand the vision of the brand, the USP's, and the TG and marry it with the hidden stories of the place, staff and experiences. We then build a shoot strategy, mood board and concepts before the actual shoot. We create stylised content: long and short-form for social media, websites and other platforms. 

How does The Episodes Do the Social Media Marketing?

We create a social media strategy based on the story, brand positioning, and business objective (whether it is sales, brand awareness, or lead generation). We then visit the property and create content that aligns with the objective, create social media calendars and post on the client's handle. We work as partners with the sales and marketing teams to also tailor the social media calendars every month and alter it to the business needs and seasons. 

How does The Episodes help with Sales & Reservation?

All our properties have beautiful stories and experiences that need to be told. They are also someone's second home and the owners would love to host guests who appreciate the place, story and property. To help with this, we have a team of fun folks who love talking to people who enquire about the property, understanding what they are looking for,  build a personal bond with the guests to give them a picture of what their getaway would be like and help them book their getaway. We have had people come back to the properties multiple times just cause they love the personal touch. 

Go-To Market Strategy? Can you explain more?

If you're just starting a luxury getaway home (Resort, homestay), here's what we can help with: Branding the space, designing the guest experience, curating a menu,  hospitality interior designing, creating a niche, a website and the story. We also help with social media strategy to launch the brand along with influencer and digital marketing support. 

What does the Episodes Team Look Like?

We're a small team full of bright, happy people comprising social media folks, editors, writers, content creators, digital marketing experts, stylists and sales and reservation managers.
